Fire protection

- The connection between drainpipe and drain body is broken by heat. The flames then reach the pipe connecting piece to the drain body.

- The flames heat the fire-protection insert in the drain body. The odour trap built into the drain body combines with sealing water to prevent smoke and gas reaching storeys higher up.

- The fire-protection insert is melted by the effect of heat and thus seals the pipe connecting piece. This prevents the fire spreading to another storey.
